Abstract
The continuity of care for physicians, as defined by the proportion of encounters that were assigned patients can be satisfactorily achieved in a primary case training program when compared to private practice. The extent to which patients saw assigned physicians apparently increased with the number of visits. Continuity for the patient was achieved for 76% of the patients and for 67% of the families visiting the Family Practice Center at the University of North Carolina [USA].This publication has 18 references indexed in Scilit:
