Abstract
This paper shows that a satisfactory estimate of a relaxation graph may be obtained from the usual tension creep curves. The validity of methods for simple relaxation is demonstrated on the basis of experimental agreement between calculated and test results. Inadequacy of the usual methods of computations are pointed out by comparison with the test results. Then the analytical schemes that appear satisfactory are extended for relaxation with the elastic follow-up.
