Abstract
The universal omission from standard American textbooks of mention of gastrointestinal ulcerations complicating pneumonia has prompted us to report 2 cases in which treatment was given to patients in the wards of the John Gaston Hospital. It has occurred to us that this complication may not be as rare as the sparsity of reported cases indicates.
