Abstract
Hemolytic disease of newborns is now a preventable disease, 10 years after the introduction of routine postpartum administration of hyperimmune globulin to Rh-negative mothers. Careful adherence to clinical and administrative guidelines, such as those described in this article, can help ensure that every susceptible woman is treated, so that the disease can be eliminated in another decade.Keywords
