Abstract
The plasma levels of estrone (E1), 17.beta.-estradiol (E2), estriol (E3), testosterone (T), 5.alpha.-di-hydrotestosterone (DHT) and androstenedione (A) were assayed by RIA [radioimmunoassay] in [human] plasma obtained from peripheral venous blood. The hormones are isolated from the plasma extract, first by Sephadex LH-20 column chromatography (E2/E3/E1, T, DHT, A) and after E1, T, DHT, A by TLC on silica gel 60 F254. The accuracy, reproducibility and sensitivity of the method make it satisfactory for clinical studies. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
