Abstract
This report describes a fifty-eight year old woman with gradual flexion contracture of fingers on both hands. In operation, firm stripes were found in the forearm muscles. The lesions were diagnosed as sarcoids by microscopic examination. Removal of the lesions allowed extension of fingers. The patient is now free of recurrence of the finger contracture two and a half year after surgery.
