Abstract
Core-excited doublet states have been populated by the beam-foil technique. The authors detected photon emission from these states, thus obtaining information on term energies. Some emission lines are broadened due to autoionising lower levels of the transitions. The line profiles have been analysed carefully in order to extract accurate autoionisation rates. The measurements show the need for better calculation. Keywords
