Abstract
A short report is given of experimental inoculation of respiratory syncytial virus into middle ears of guinea pigs. The virus was isolated from the middle ear cleft 7 days after inoculation in 41 per cent of the inoculated ears. Slight inflammation was detected in most of the infected ears. In evaluating the results, reproduction of virus in the middle ear cleft is considered probable. Keywords
