Abstract
Summary: 1. In the preceding pages the application of the concept of heterogony to the chemical changes in growing Metazoa has been discussed.2. A number of concrete examples have been brought forward which seem to indicate a uniformity of chemical heterogony in widely different organisms.3. Hence it is suggested that there exists a fundamental chemical ground‐plan of animal growth, capable of very varying expression in space‐time. This publication has 40 references indexed in Scilit:
