Abstract
This article details a workshop model for children, ages 10–17 whose families are going through divorce. The rationale, dynamics, and format for this support and skill building group are outlined. The first half of the six‐hour workshop helps define the particular needs and problem areas of the participants, while the second half centers on specific communication skills designed to help master these problem areas. The American Personnel and Guidance Association film, Divorce: Part II was an integral part of the skill building section. Keywords
