Abstract
A micro‐extraction technique combined with GC/NPD was developed in order to estimate relative mobility of seven co‐applied pesticides (alachlor, atrazine, carbofuran, cyanazine, ethoprop, metolachlor, and metribuzin) on soil TLC plates. A comparative study with 14C‐labeled pesticides and autoradiography showed good agreement between the two techniques for determining the frontal or center Rf values on a silty clay soil. The results also showed that mobility of any one pesticide was not affected by the presence of the other co‐applied chemicals. Keywords
