Abstract
The conventional death certificate carries data upon which are based far-ranging medical philosophies, therapies, fund-raising drives and scientific research. The current threats to mankind are supposedly mirrored in the statistics culled from the causes of death found in these records. But few physicians believe that all is well in these documents of Thanatos.A recent study1 of 3557 death certificates in Pennsylvania showed 911 deaths attributed to Coronary Artery disease.
