Steady-State Behavior of Systems Provided With Nonlinear Dynamic Vibration Absorbers

Abstract
The response of vibrating systems subjected to sinusoidal excitations and to the action of nonlinear dynamic vibration absorbers is determined by means of a simple procedure. Extensive information including that from more complicated methods of analysis is obtainable. System behavior is described by means of “response diagrams,” and certain peculiarities are discussed.
