Low-Lying States ofIn111via theCd11(p, n)In111Reaction

Abstract
A state at 801±2 keV in In111 was observed by the (p, n) reaction on Cd111. This was established from the neutron time-of-flight spectra as well as from the γ-ray spectra following the neutron emission. The incident proton energies ranged from 4.2 to 5.35 MeV. The angular distribution of neutrons and the preferential decay of this state to the spin-parity ½ state at 535 keV show that the spin is 32 or 52, and most probably 32.
