Abstract
Measurement of slow neutrons for biological studies is complicated by the presence of other radiations and the lack of a direct method for estimation of tissue dose. Indirect methods, e.g. foil activation, and procedures for determining coexisting gamma radiation are discussed. The RBE of pile thermal-column radiations and 250-kvp X-rays is compared for several biological effects in animals. Keywords
