Abstract
Using cw NMR in CuCl, CuI, and Cu , we have determined a new value for the copper nuclear-moment ratio, the result being . This value contradicts an often-cited earlier determination. The consequences for the hyperfine-structure anomalies in several atomic states are briefly reviewed. The Cu NMR linewidths in CuCl are reported for the range 77-600 K.
