Abstract
Summary form only given. We quantify how bandpass filters can stabilize (or destabilize) the propagation of DM solitons by using a linear stability analysis. Both ideal lossless systems and realistic systems composed of single-mode and dispersion-compensating fibers (SMF and DCF) are analyzed.Keywords
