Abstract
Clinical success of laryngotracheal protheses are constrained by a combination of biocompatible response in the host and a suitable functional rehabilitation. This review considers clinical limits of different materials commonly used in ear, nose and throat surgery and will more particularly focus on titanium, one material recognized to be well tolerated in implantology. Keywords
