Abstract
Cutaneous sensation in plaques of necrobiosis lipoidica was assessed in 5 non-diabetic and 7 diabetic patients. Of the 12 patients, 11 showed partial or complete anesthesia of the affected skin. These findings are important in the differential diagnosis of tuberculoid leprosy. Further studies of nerve function in cutaneous granulomas need to be carried out. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
