Abstract
The beta spectrum of RaE has been remeasured with improved techniques. The distribution is fitted by a shape factor appropriate to a once forbidden transition with a spin change, involving interference between the and couplings. The experimental measurement is used to set limits on the ratio of the beta moments which are treated as parameters.
