Abstract
This paper considers full‐scale wind velocity and wind pressure time series data collected on two cooling towers. ARIMA time series models are shown to describe these data adequately. The advantage of using these models is that they provide a convenient method for loading simulation. Transfer function models in the time domain relating input wind velocity to output wind pressure‐difference at three circumferential tower locations are presented and discussed. Keywords
