Abstract
A clinical series of 40 patients was observed for 5 months, in the course of which every patient took 1.5 g. metformin daily for 3 months. No increase in fibrinolytic activity was demonstrable by euglobulin lysis test during the course of treatment. Nor did the fibrinogen and cholesterol values change. Blood glucose decreased. Keywords
