Abstract
Enlargement of the thyroid was induced in rats by defatted soybean under I deficiency. These goiters were thyroid carcinoma which was malignant with invasive growth and lung metastases. A small amount of I inhibited enlargement of the thyroid completely. The role of soybean factor(s) which causes goiter was examined.This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
