Abstract
We report narrow-band spectra () from a tunable ( GHz), Raman, free-electron laser operating in a single T waveguide mode. rf power levels of 100 kW at an efficiency of ∼ 12% have been achieved. Measured dispersion characteristics are in good agreement with theory.
