Abstract
Summary: A study has been made of the relationship between size of antigenic particles and the number of particles necessary to produce visible immunological reactions. This mass-number relationship has been shown graphically. It has been suggested that the reason immunological reactions have not been obtained with viruses in vitro is that insufficient concentrations of virus particles have been used. The importance of considering antigenic mass in studies upon immunization with viruses and in immune body absorption experiments has been emphasized. Keywords
