The Plasma Amylase in Diabetic Coma

Abstract
In 11 cases of diabetic coma due to causes other than proven pancreatitis the plasma amylase was found to be grossly abnormal in eight. A possible explanation for this observation is that in these cases there is a release of liver amylase as a result of disordered carbohydrate utilization.This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
