Permeability of crystalline rocks: New in situ measurements

Abstract
New in situ measurements from 10 sites, including three in basalt, have about the same range of permeability for crystalline rocks as reported previously, namely, from about 10−18 m2 (1 μdarcy) to 10−13 m2 (100 mdarcy). Highly conductive intervals may be as deep as 3 km.Keywords
