Abstract
A programmable flow diversion system that prevents undesirable remixing of effluent peaks during collection is developed. The device is superior to existing mechanical flow diversion systems because it has no dead volume, does not use a flow diverting valve, and needs no fittings to connect to the fraction collector. It there for esimulates manual collection efficiencies. The device is in expensive, reliable, and can be easily installed on most commercial fraction collectors. Keywords
