Abstract
To the Editor: I have just read the article in the April 12 issue of the Journal entitled "Coronary Arterial Spasm in Prinzmetal Angina" by P.B. Oliva, D.E. Potts, and R.G. Pluss, and am reminded of the Lumleian Lectures on Angina Pectoris presented by Sir William Osler and published in the Lancet in 1910.In the Second Lumleian Lecture, on page 842 of the Lancet, Osler devoted nearly two pages to arterial spasm. The first part of the first paragraph under that title begins as follows:Let us now consider in what condition we actually see spasm of the arteries; . . .
