Abstract
The authors study the thermodynamics of a 2D electron system in perpendicular magnetic field H. It is shown that, for a wide class of interaction and external potentials (including irregular ones), the grand partition function takes the form of a classical partition function as H to infinity . Some consequences of this theorem are also discussed. Keywords
