Abstract
Lysine monohydrochloride, administered in a dose of 5 g with a test meal of bread and water, was well tolerated by 21 young adult persons. The effects on gastric secretion consisted of a substantial increase in the activity of pepsin and a moderate, less constant rise in the amount of hydrochloric acid.Keywords
