Abstract

An isolated fracture of the medial aspect of the maxilla involves the frontal process of the maxilla and the medial aspect of the infraorbital rim. The diagnosis and treatment of nine patients are reported.Special emphasis is placed upon the diagnostic similarities and differences between this fracture and the more common nasal, nasomaxillary, blowout, and zygomatic fractures.
