Abstract
The fabrication and performance of coaxial gamma radiation detectors from high purity germanium are discussed, and equations are presented which characterize a coaxial detector as a function of size, bias voltage, and impurity concentration. The coaxial detectors discussed have fully depleted volumes from 7 cm3 to 76 cm3.Keywords
