Abstract
A systematic account of 135 spp. observed on or near the northwestern Nullarbor Plain from 1967 to 1978 is given. Four habitats have been recognized on the Plain in which 28 sedentary, 15 nomadic, 29 irregular and 19 vagrant species were recorded. Regular counts of birds were made in 3 habitats. During the last 40 yrs, chiming wedgebill and redthroat seem to have disappeared from the plain and the distribution of several others has changed. This publication has 10 references indexed in Scilit:
