Abstract
Testicular involvement in dracunculosis [Dracunculus medinensis]is extremely rare, although intrascrotal abscesses do occur in this infestation. Two cases [adult and child] of testicular abscess are reported. In both cases the guinea worm had penetrated the tunica albuginea to be lodged in the testicular and the paratesticular tissue. Dracunculosis should be included in the differential diagnosis of testicular swellings in areas where it is endemic. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
