Abstract
The use of paradoxical intention is suggested as a viable alternative to symptom induction and other traditional methods in the treatment of panic disorder. A case example is provided to illustrate the technique. A discussion section highlights the circumstances under which this technique may serve as a viable alternative in the treatment of panic attacks. Keywords
