LI Leiomyosarcoma of Nose, Nasopharynx and Paranasal Sinuses

Abstract
A review of the leiomyosarcoma of the nasal chambers and nasopharynx was presented with the addition of the third case reported in the world literature. Although irradiation has been known to palliate sarcomata, surgical extirpation remains the most expeditious treatment available for this lesion. A plea for more thorough microscopic examination of all nasal polyps and other benign-appearing lesions is urged.
