Abstract
In situ hybridization was employed to localize a cDNA probe from the human protein tyrosine phosphatase gene LAR to human metaphase chromosomes. LAR, a putative tumor suppressor gene, has been localized to lρ32, a chromosomal region that is frequently found deleted in human neuroblastoma and pheochromocytoma. Keywords
