Technical notes. A calculation and interference test apparatus for the simulation of mental stress

Abstract
With the apparatus described here one can simulate workloads with high mental components and low physical activities, with great variability regarding type and difficulty of the task and with high reproductivity. Using the special projection display units up to six simultaneously displayed digits or other symbols or pieces of information can be presented paced or free-running. The use of the apparatus to present a calculation test or an interference test is described.
