Abstract
For incompressible turbulent flow with large Reynolds and Péclet numbers, mechanisms for the spectral transfer of kinetic energy, heat, and mass at large wavenumbers are proposed. Based on these mechanisms, turbulent energy, temperature, and the concentration spectrum functions are deduced for the entire universal equilibrium range of wavenumbers. The resulting one‐dimensional energy, temperature, and concentration spectra are compared with measurements. Keywords
