Abstract
Techniques for the removal of foreign objects from the rectum are examined. As abdominal roentgenogram of a 42 yr old man showed a 16 mm Kimex glass test tube lodged in a fold of the mucosa causing a spasm of the sigmoid. A rubbur diaphragm is utilized to expand the rectum via air pressure to permit easy removal. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
