Abstract
In a paper presented to the ISOTT Meeting in 1973 D.F. Bruley stated that “one of the greatest problems facing both the theoretician and the experimentalist is the establishment of a meaningful geometry and flow pattern” (Bruley, 1973). Surprisingly, in the 14 years since this statement was made no technique has emerged which would allow for the accurate analysis of capillary flow pattern. The determination of capillary flow pattern, whether concurrent, countercurrent or any other proposed geometry, has proven especially difficult for the heart with its inherent contractile activity. Keywords
