Abstract
An intramolecular Wittig reaction of some substituted aminoacetophenones was used for the synthesis of novel quinoline derivatives. In addition, the base induced cyclization of the aminoacetophenones was investigated. The IR and NMR spectra of the quinoline derivatives are reported. Keywords
