Liquorspiegel-Untersuchungen einer Trimethoprim-Sulfamethoxazol-Kombination im Ventrikelliquor bei neurochirurgischen Patienten

Abstract
Es wird über fortlaufende Liquorspiegelbestimmungen bei intakten Meningen nach Gabe einer Trimethoprim-Sulfamethoxazol-(Bactrim, Eusaprim)Kombination bei insgesamt 7 Patienten berichtet. Die Maximalliquorkonzentration von SMZ beträgt durchschnittlich 45,6% der nichtproteingebundenen Plasmakonzentration. Noch höher liegt die Konzentration von TMP mit 68,9%. Für den Neurochirurgen steht daher mit dieser Kombination ein sehr gut liquorgängiges Chemotherapeutikum mit breitem Wirkungsspektrum zur Verfügung. Results of measurements of Trimethoprim-Sulphamethoxazole (Bactrim, Eusaprim) levels in the CSF of seven patients with intact meninges are reported. The maximum fluid concentration of non-protein-bound SMZ was approximately 46.5%. The TMP value was 68.9% With this combination of drugs it is possible to achieve a high CSF level of broadspectrum chemotherapeutic substances in neurosurgical patients.
