Case Report: Observations on Pseudotuberculosis in Common Grackles

Abstract
Pasteurella pseudotuberculosis was implicated in 2 cases of epizootic disease in eastern grackles. This disease involves extensive tissue damage, with the production of characteristic pseudotubercles in the liver, spleen, lungs, and muscle. Pseudotuberculosis can be responsible for high mortality in icterid roosts during the late winter.
