Abstract
Presented here are new graphical methods for analysis of life data with different failure modes. These methods, which are based on hazard plotting, are applicable to incomplete life data coming from life tests and the field. The methods are illustrated with data on a small electrical appliance. This paper concludes with a presentation of theory underlying these methods and an introduction to the literature on analysis of life data with different failure modes. Keywords
