Abstract
Spectrophotometric and fluorometric procedures have been developed for the analysis of nitrite ion based upon 2,3-naphthotriazole formation with the reagent 2,3-diaminonaphthalene. Reaction conditions, interferences, solvent extraction, and sensitivity of the procedures are discussed. Keywords
