Abstract
Advances in laparoscopic surgery have resulted in the development of reliable techniques for performing laparoscopic simple, radical, and partial nephrectomy. Herein, we present a case of a small, low-stage renal mass laparoscopically explored and excised by a wedge resection. Although this minimally invasive technique allowed the patient a rapid recovery and achieved local tumor excision, the clinical appropriateness remains controversial. Keywords
