Metastable peaks in a mass spectrum measured automatically under high resolution fast scan conditions

Abstract

Three metastable peaks have been automatically recorded in the fast scan high resolution mass spectrum of 2‐hydroxy‐4‐octoxybenzophenone. Values for released kinetic energy in the transitions m/e 326 to 325 and m/e 214 to 213 agree with the results obtained by conventional means.
