Abstract
Reviews present information on current quark masses from both the mesonic and baryonic sectors of the hadronic world. The authors find that both sectors yield mutually consistent results which are equally consistent with the model for the chiral-symmetry breaking proposed by Gell-Mann et al. (1968). Evidence claimed by Gunion et al. (1976) to support a different scheme is found to be either radically changed by the new data or not as compelling as claimed by those authors. Keywords
